Beatrice F. Schulz, 1912-1999, began a career in occupational therapy in 1931, but she switched to physical therapy in 1942. After completing her O.T. training at St. Louis School of Occupational Therapy, Schulz worked as an occupational therapist in Barnes Hospital (1934-1936) and Mayo Clinic (1936-1939).
